Terms and Conditions for "Authenticator" app

Welcome to "Authenticator" app, a mobile application provided by 4Ingens ("we," "us," or "our"). By using "Authenticator" app, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By using "Authenticator" app, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions and any applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the app.

2. “Authenticator” app subscription

- Your “Authenticator” app subscription is valid for one month or one year from the date of the conclusion as you choose. You will be charged immediately after buying the subscription.

- After the expiration of the previous month or year of the subscription you have chosen, your paid subscription will automatically renew for another month or year respectively if you do not deactivate automatic renewal in your iTunes account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the respective month or year. For clarification: In the case of a monthly subscription, your “Authenticator” app subscription is automatically renewed for another month; in the case of a yearly subscription, your “Authenticator” app subscription is automatically renewed for another year.

- You can cancel your paid “Authenticator” app subscription at any time by turning off automatic renewal in your iTunes account. This must be done at the latest 24 hours before the end of the paid subscription to avoid payment. The termination will take effect the day after the last day of the subscription period. The “Authenticator” app subscription functionalities are then no longer available to you.

- To refund your subscription please contact Apple at https://expresslane.apple.com. In our experience, it can take up to ten (10) days after cancellation to receive a refund. “Authenticator” app does not control, and is not responsible for, the third-party payment processors’ refund process. In certain cases, we may not be able to refund the applicable Fee. TAXES. You will pay all applicable taxes, including, without limitation, value-added, use, sales, commercial, gross receipts, privilege, surcharges, or other similar taxes, license fees and surcharges, on your purchase and/or use of the Services, whether charged to you or to “Authenticator” app, immediately when due. You will pay all applicable third-party fees, including, without limitation, telephone toll charges, mobile carrier fees, internet service provider charges, data plan charges, credit card fees, foreign exchange fees, and foreign transaction fees. “Authenticator” app is not responsible for the above-described taxes and third-party fees. You may not withhold any amounts for the above-described taxes and third-party fees from the Fees.

3. User's 2FA codes and passwords

- Protection of User’s Information:
We prioritize the security and privacy of your information. We want to assure you that we do not have access to the two-factor authentication (2FA) codes or passwords you store on your devices or in your iCloud.

- Local Storage and iCloud:
Your 2FA codes are securely stored locally on your devices, and if you choose to enable iCloud backup for the app, they will be encrypted and stored within your personal iCloud account. This means that only you, as the user, have control and access to your 2FA codes.

- User Responsibility:
Please remember that maintaining the security and confidentiality of your 2FA codes and passwords is crucial. We advise you not to share this information with anyone, including “Authenticator” app’s support staff. You bear sole responsibility for safeguarding your authentication codes and passwords.

4. User Content
You may have the ability to upload, store, or share content through "Authenticator." You are solely responsible for the content you upload, and you must not violate any laws or infringe on the rights of others.

5. Privacy
We collect and use information as described in our Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://4ingens.com/privacy-authenticator. By using "Authenticator," you consent to our data collection and use practices.

6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to engage in any of the following activities while using "Authenticator": Violating any applicable laws or regulations. Uploading, sharing, or distributing malicious software or malware. Harassing, threatening, or infringing upon the rights of others. Unauthorized access to, or interference with, the app's features or user accounts. Engaging in any other activity that violates our terms or policies.

7. Disclaimer of Liability

- Data Loss and Security Responsibility:
“Authenticator” app takes security seriously and implements measures to safeguard your data and sensitive information. However, you acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your accounts, passwords, and any two-factor authentication (2FA) codes associated with the Services. In the event of any loss or compromise of your data, 2FA codes, passwords, or any unauthorized access to your accounts, “Authenticator” app shall not be held responsible for any damages, losses, or liabilities incurred as a result. It is your responsibility to take appropriate precautions and regularly back up your data.

- No Liability for Damages:
In no event shall “Authenticator” app or its affiliates be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our Services, including, but not limited to, any damages resulting from lost data, loss of profits, interruption of business, or any other financial loss, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. You acknowledge that the use of our Services is at your own risk.

- No Responsibility for Account or Company Damage:
“Authenticator” app shall not be responsible for any damage, loss, or unauthorized access to your personal accounts, corporate accounts, or company data, including but not limited to, data breaches, security breaches, or any negative impact on your company’s reputation, finances, or business operations. By using our Services, you agree to indemnify and hold “Authenticator” app and its affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or related to such incidents.

- No Legal Recourse:
By using our Services, you agree that in no event shall you or any third party seek to hold “Authenticator” app, its officers, employees, or affiliates liable or initiate any legal action, including but not limited to, lawsuits, arbitration, or class actions, arising from or related to your use of the Services or any issues with data loss, security breaches, or unauthorized access.

8. Intellectual Property
All content and materials within the “Authenticator” app are protected by intellectual property rights. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our permission. We do not grant to you any rights to patents, copyrights, trade secrets, trademarks, or any other rights in respect to the Services. You agree and acknowledge that in providing the Services,“Authenticator” app. utilizes (i) the name, logo, and domain name of the product names associated with the Services and other trademarks, (ii) certain audio and visual information, documents, software and other works of authorship, and (iii) other technology, hardware, products, processes, algorithms, user interfaces, know-how and other trade secrets, techniques, designs, inventions and other tangible or intangible technical material or information that is protected by intellectual property rights owned or licensed by “Authenticator” app.

9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to "Authenticator" at our discretion, with or without notice.

10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically. Your continued use of the app after changes signifies your acceptance of the modified terms.
